Hold in your own hands these traditionally-embroidered swatches of handwork.

The fabrics are from a variety of needlework techniques that are practiced exclusively by women including : embroidery, batik, reverse appliqué, and "story cloth stitchery", a type of embroidery that was developed in the refugee camps after the war in Southeast Asia.

Traded fairly from Hmong women, this kit comes with:

• 6 patches of upcycled fabric that are 2-4" each in squares, rectangles, or triangle shapes
• Needle
• Thread
