Seawool™ Twill Flannel – Burgundy
Soft, substantial, and surprisingly sustainable. This rich burgundy twill flannel combines the cozy feel of wool with the easy care and performance of modern recycled fibers, creating a fabric that's equally suited to everyday garments and hard-working wardrobe staples.
Woven from Robert Kaufman's innovative Seawool™ yarn, this fabric has a brushed hand, beautiful drape, and a heathered appearance created through yarn-dyed construction. The result is a versatile cloth with depth, warmth, and texture—perfect for cooler weather sewing.
Seawool™ is made using post-consumer oyster shells and recycled plastic bottles, which are processed into a performance fiber that is naturally anti-static, odor resistant, quick drying, and exceptionally soft. Combined with rayon and polyester, it creates a durable fabric that feels comfortable against the skin while standing up to regular wear.
This medium-weight twill flannel is ideal for button-up shirts, overshirts, lounge pants, lightweight jackets, coat linings, and cozy layering pieces. The deep burgundy color pairs beautifully with denim, charcoal, olive, camel, and other fall and winter neutrals.
Sold by the 1/2 yard. Add 1 unit for 1/2 yard, 2 units for 1 yard, 3 units for 1 1/2 yards, and so on. Multiple units will be cut as one continuous piece.
