The artist creates each piece by washing, dyeing, tearing, and weaving vintage kimono fabrics into a beautifully textured cloth. Reclaimed silk kimono fabrics, cotton, merino wool, and vintage silk scarf fabrics are combined with cotton slub warp threads to create a textile that is both lightweight and richly dimensional. Every material contributes its own texture and character, making each scarf truly one of a kind.
