Essex Yarn-Dyed Linen Cotton blends the airy texture of linen with the softness of cotton—and because the fibers are dyed before weaving, the color has a subtle, dimensional quality you simply can’t get from solid-dyed cloth.

Unlike flat, surface-dyed fabrics, yarn-dyed Essex uses differently colored warp and weft threads. The result is a gently heathered effect that seems to shift slightly in the light, giving your projects a refined, homespun look with quiet richness.

This versatile medium-weight fabric is ideal for garments, quilting, bags, and home décor. It presses beautifully, sews smoothly, and has enough body for structure—without feeling stiff.

Sold in ½ yard increments. Add 1 unit for ½ yard, 2 units for 1 yard, 3 units for 1½ yards, and so on. Multiple units will be sent as one continuous piece whenever possible.
