Handwoven Kurume kasuri with bold circular motifs in indigo, red, and pale blue

This striking fabric is a handwoven Kurume kasuri, known for its depth of indigo and distinctive, slightly more pronounced ikat forms. The repeating circular motif—often described as a “bull’s eye”—recalls traditional maru-gasuri (round kasuri) designs.

The indigo ground is rich and saturated, with red and pale blue forms floating rhythmically across the cloth. Original authenticity markings and stamps are visible, supporting its vintage provenance.

Sold in ½ yard increments. Add 1 unit for ½ yard, 2 for 1 yard, 3 for 1½ yards, and so on. Multiple units will be sent as one continuous piece whenever possible.
