Rare Botanically-Dyed Fabrics from Japan

Many of these fabrics originate from the work of a Japanese textile artist devoted to botanical dyeing and traditional craftsmanship, while others come from related studio collections. Most are colored with plants grown and harvested in Japan. Others are painted by hand, some of them signed by the artist.

Originally created for the design trade, these fabrics rarely make their way into the public market. We were fortunate to acquire a small assortment of deadstock pieces—each with its own story, and available only while it lasts.
