Antique Art Deco Wooden Spool

This finely-crafted antique spool from the Art Deco period is exquisite! 

Originating from Soirie Lyonnaise, it was used as a spool on looms. 

It's condition is exceptional and quite unusual to find a spool of this high quality. The wood is polished smooth and it feels soft to the touch. 

Wrap some special ribbon around it and add it to your collection of interesting textile items. I have one in my unofficial museum of haberdashery. :-)
