Hmong Appliquéd Cloth - Yellow & Pink Pinwheel Singles

These vibrant cloth panels are remnants of a beautifully ambitious patchwork project—now ready for a fresh start in your creative hands. Originally handmade by Hmong artisans in northern Thailand, the base cloth is resist dyed with natural indigo and overlaid with bold geometric appliqué in saturated pink, yellow, white, red, and blue cotton.

The motifs—pinwheels, triangles, and lattice grids—are traditional and rhythmic, full of movement and intention. These textiles were likely made for clothing or ceremonial use, and today, they’re equally stunning as framed art, patchwork accents, or treasured additions to a textile archive.

All pieces are clean, though some show minor color migration in the pink areas—a gentle reminder of the handmade nature and age of the materials.
