Heritage selvedge canvas with honest character

Woven in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture, this 11 oz selvedge canvas duck is produced on traditional shuttle looms in limited runs. It carries the dense structure and clean selvedge edge that Japanese mills are known for — but this batch includes visible weaving irregularities in some areas.

These imperfections may include subtle slubs, tension variations, or small inconsistencies in the weave. They do not compromise the integrity of the fabric but give it a slightly more rustic, workwear feel. The price reflects this variation that may accur throughout the yardage. 

This weight is ideal for structured garments and utility pieces — pants, chore coats, jackets, aprons, and bags.
