Indigo-Dyed Loosely Woven Shijira Cotton Fabric

$19.00 Sale • Save

This Japanese Shijira cotton fabric features a beautiful indigo blue weave with fine, irregular white threads running throughout. The loosely woven construction creates a soft, textured surface with subtle variations in color and pattern.

Shijira is a traditional Japanese weaving style known for its distinctive texture and comfortable feel. This fabric has a relaxed drape and a soft hand, making it a lovely choice for garments that benefit from movement and breathability.

Use it for loose-fitting shirts, tunics, dresses, lightweight jackets, or relaxed pants. It would also be well suited to scarves, bags, and home accessories.

This fabric comes from an unused, previously stored collection of Japanese textiles, offering an opportunity to work with a distinctive traditional weave.

Sold by the 1/2 yard. Add 1 unit for 1/2 yard, 2 units for 1 yard, 3 units for 1 1/2 yards, and so on. Multiple units will be cut as one continuous piece.
