Indigo-Dyed Ultra-Thin, Sheer Cotton/Silk

An extraordinarily lightweight Japanese indigo-dyed fabric with an airy, almost weightless hand and a softly luminous surface. Woven from what is likely a cotton/silk blend, the cloth has a delicate transparency and fluid drape that gives it a quiet elegance.

This fabric is especially suited for layering garments, scarves, lightweight curtains, summer clothing, textile installations, and other projects where movement and light are part of the design. The open weave allows the rich indigo color to shift beautifully depending on how the cloth is gathered, layered, or backlit.

Sold by the 1/2 yard. Add 1 unit for ½ yard, 3 units for 1½ yards, and so on. Your fabric will be sent as one continuous cut.
