Plant-Dyed Tsumugi Woven Fabric – Pink
This Japanese Tsumugi-style woven fabric features a soft, dusty pink color with subtle gray mottling across the surface. Fine, irregular threads create a lightly textured appearance, giving the fabric the distinctive character associated with traditional Japanese Tsumugi textiles.
The plant-dyed coloring has gentle variations in tone, with areas of muted gray that appear almost brushed across the pink background. These variations add depth and interest to the fabric without overwhelming its understated color.
With a soft hand and a lightly structured drape, this fabric would be lovely for jackets, skirts, dresses, tunics, and relaxed trousers. It would also work beautifully for bags, cushions, and other textile projects where the woven texture and nuanced coloring can be appreciated.
This unused fabric comes from a previously stored collection of Japanese textiles, offering an opportunity to work with a distinctive traditional weave.
Sold by the 1/2 yard. Add 1 unit for 1/2 yard, 2 units for 1 yard, 3 units for 1 1/2 yards, and so on. Multiple units will be cut as one continuous piece.
