Vintage Thread Pack - Hedgerow
Named for the abundant tangle of green life lining country roads, Hedgerow is the color of resilience and quiet growth. You’ll find khaki, pine, moss, emerald, and fern—punctuated with a bit of teal. It’s the feeling of foraging walks and green-thumbed afternoons, a palette that breathes life into whatever you stitch.
Kristin's personal collection of threads has far outgrown her ability to ever use or enjoy it all, so she is sharing it with you.
Thread types may include:
• Hand-sewing thread
• Buttonhole twist
• Embroidery floss
Fiber content: Mostly cotton and silk, with the occasional strand of linen or high-quality polyester (we let beauty and story be our guides).
Spools + cards: Expect a mix—wooden, paper, bakelite, plastic. Pristine, patinaed. Some wrapped in history, some in mystery.
Uses: Stitch them. Frame them. Pet them. (No judgment.) They’re great for visible mending, embroidery, collage, and studio display.
Condition: Some threads are pristine, others show their age with a bit of fading or spotting. We’ve included them intentionally—because often, there's still plenty of usable thread beneath the outer wrap. And sometimes, those marks of time add just the right texture or truth to a stitched piece. It’s a glimpse into how thread lives, weathers, and survives.
Note: You’ll receive a bundle in the green-focused palette pictured—but your exact threads will be unique. There are three packs shown in the photo, each divided by the crease in the cloth. You will receive a pack with a similar quantity and variety of threads.
