Straight Tracing Wheel

A simple marking tool with a surprisingly useful range of applications. Unlike a traditional sharp tracing wheel, this straight wheel gently scores the surface of fabric, leaving a visible crease without ink, chalk, or punched holes.

Use it to transfer pattern lines, mark stitching guides, or create straight creases for English paper piecing and other hand-sewing projects. It works much like a hera marker: simply roll the wheel along the fabric to create a temporary line, then stitch or fold along the impression.

The smooth wheel is especially useful for delicate and lightweight fabrics where you want a clear guide without leaving a permanent mark.
